NO! NO! NO!!!!!! That is total BS!!! Do you know why they moved it!?!?!?!? I will tell you why..... because the price of gold is sky rocketing and the mint wasn't able to play by their own freaking rules and wait until next Thursday to raise the price. They may call it a "shortage", but we all know the truth. I was all set to buy both FS coins next week, even though the original plan was to wait. But with the price of gold going up and with the new mint's precious metal pricing guide, the prices were sure to go up. If gold were to stay exactly were it is today, you would save $50 by buying the proof and unc coins when they were supposed to be released as opposed to after next Thursday. After next Thursday, once again assuming that the price of gold were to stay were it is, the price of the coins are going to raise by $25 apiece. But now the mint isn't going to give us that choice. They are moving the date and raising the price. I knew it was too good to be true! :headbang: Now I know what many of you are going to think.... what the heck is $25 per coin when you are spending that kind of money anyway, right? I know you all are thinking that because that is what I am thinking. But it is the principal. Now it may truly be a shortage, but you know its like that girl who keeps cheating you.....she may be telling the truth this time, but since she has broken your heart all the other times before, why believe her now? I just came up with this stupid example, sorry its the best I can do. Also.....Why don't those nutballs just go ahead and release both Tyler FS coins on the same day? What is their reasoning for not doing that? You know, I used to be a big fan of Mr. Moy, but that guy just fell to the bottom of my list. Please Mr. President... replace him soon. :vanish:
I went to a garage sale this summer and it was not open even though they had alot of people there walking up to buy stuff. 2 4X8 sheets of lywood sign put up with hours but not days. With our money in hand, we were turned away. A lady said I hope it rains when you are going to open. U know what happened? It rained ALL weekend! So, I hope the price of gold drops at least $200 in the next week and stays there for a 6 weeks. (Hope the voodoo works)
Those high prices will slow early sales......HHHHMMMMM might be a good one to get First Strike labels.....low mintage, low FS label pops, PR/MS70.....why it just don't get no better.....:whistle:
