I picked up three V Nickels at FUN... One was offered to me at the table I was working at - and I don't have an image of it yet; I'll edit this once its imaged. Its an 1899 in an NGC 45 holder - with a cracked planchet - the REV is sheered off. Its a neat coin for sure ! I wish the seller also had the REV in another holder. But - I'm pretty happy with this. At auction [ Heritage ] I picked up a couple of error V Nickels - specifically for my 1889 and 1891 Mint Sets [ a little variety never hurts ] These are Heritage's images - I need to have professional images taken: The next coin needs some explanation... its 85% Cu + 15% Ni Although I just posted these next two images on the Seated Forum, here are two neat errors for the 89 & 91 Mint sets:
