    Clipped Double.jpg
Just bought this interesting, at least to me, error coin.
A French piece, is a double tournois. This looks
to be a flip over double strike on an incomplete planchet.
The left image, I'm guessing the obverse, has the head
of the ruler. At 6 o'clock, it has been struck partially by
the reverse die. The letters "BLE" can be seen, as well
as on the image on the right at 3 o'clock. On the image
on the right, at 12 o'clock, you can see "GASTON", partially
blurred by the "clipped" area. Not in my usual wheel
house, something different. Feel free to post your foreign/
ancient errors. Comments and corrections are welcome
    and encouraged. Thank You.

Nice pick up. Thanks for sharing.

    Ok

The seller labeled it as a 2005. It was actually a 2004..
