So I greatly enjoy collecting Seated Half Dimes, and I didn’t have the 1858-O. I was looking on Ebay and saw this one up for $15. It’s a nice, well-circulated coin that served its purpose and a decent hole filler. Especially at $15 - can’t complain! Except I can, because I bought only one New Orleans half dime. So I bought this other one at $10 as well, pictured on the right. Having two New Orleans half dimes is never a bad thing!
In hand, I'm sure you can tell better, but at first glance, I was thinking it was a 1859. Could just be my eyes.
