In a recent submission, I sent it in on a whim and paid the extra $18 for the error designation. Will I ever gain my money back on this coin? Probably not, but I wanted it graded and for now it stays in my world collection with the few others that aren't German States coins. In fact, had I not settled on the German States, the Swiss Cantons would have been a close second as a collecting opportunity. As you can see, the strike through left the N of canton and ZU of Zurich missing. The coin has a nice pleasing luster about it to. As you can see, NGC has started using the back label with the QR code which I find handy. You simply open your phone camera, it detects the code and directs you right to the certification page.
