I bought this lovely little rappen coin a while back because of the very noticable strike through on the obverse.

In a recent submission, I sent it in on a whim and paid the extra $18 for the error designation. Will I ever gain my money back on this coin? Probably not, but I wanted it graded and for now it stays in my world collection with the few others that aren't German States coins. In fact, had I not settled on the German States, the Swiss Cantons would have been a close second as a collecting opportunity.

As you can see, the strike through left the N of canton and ZU of Zurich missing. The coin has a nice pleasing luster about it to.

As you can see, NGC has started using the back label with the QR code which I find handy. You simply open your phone camera, it detects the code and directs you right to the certification page.

It's not just graded.. It's also attributed.
You send possible mint errors for attribution ;)

I needed to explain that for any newbies looking at your thread.

    Neat. Thanks for sharing.

Right! They agreed with my assessment...lol.

I still fumble with finding the right numismatic terms.

I can't see the error because the pictures are 95% slab and 5% coin. :(

But in all fairness, it is a small coin too!
