    I've been able to pick up a few Newfie George VI cents from dealer junk boxes over the years but never any silver :(

    Fun coins from estate

    Wikipedia shows that there are about 1/2 million people living in Newfoundland today. I personally have never visited Newfoundland.

    Correct. Not Newfoundland but Great Britain.

    :) 1/2 a brain fart. I got the coin in Newfoundland while in US army on leave. I always had though of as being from Newfoundland.now that I see the obv it is a UK 1/2 New penny:foot-mouth:
