Newfound respect for the eagle

One of the original objections to the eagle was that it was a scavenger -- not very respectable.

 

Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be the national bird.
I'm glad the eagle won out...I can't imagine Thanksgiving dinner, had Ben had his way. :bigeyes:
