    I inherited my grandfathers (Bert 1944-2019) collection recently, but he never let me look at it, so what I found was a pleasant surprise.

    Get out your Red Book and start searching. I noticed a 1916 Mercury so be sure to check the mintmark on that puppy. Good hunting CB.

    Yeah, also check for the 1919 Merc DDO (IGWT) and the 1942 over 41 Merc.

    By the way @CoinBlazer , I'm sorry for your loss. Your grandfather was a rather young man.

    Be sure to keep at least one favorite coin from his collection . . . something to remember hm by if you ever sell them off. You'll be glad you did.
