I was given this bill from the bank last week and it definitely caught my eye. Not sure the process of printing notes and certainly unaware of how the tit has remained attached to the bill for this length of time in circulation? Although the bill is in good shape there is also, no break in the security strip where the tit is attached. You know, I was always taught to always check my coins though never the notes, until now Your expertise and opinion is valuable so I ask, Is this worth sending off for grading to resale and what sort value could I expect. I think we all agree it’s damaged. The OP was looking for opinions on whether it was a legitimate BEP error or post-BEP damage.
While it is interesting, the denomination is too high to have many serious collectors, & then I think any premium would be very minimal. Now if it was a $1... Spend it!
