I am a complete novice in the coin collecting space. I am looking to establish the value of a error coin that I came across. I believe I have a 1993 Hidalgo $20 pesos silver coin. From what I have researched, I think this coin is a bonded mated pair coin.

Does anyone have any insight on this coin? I am looking to sell the coin, but I am trying to figure out an approximate value.

Thank you in advance for any help!

It looks to me like a coin that was cut down to a smaller size (i.e., PMD, or post-mint damage).

However, I don't really know. I will defer to any more knowledgeable answers you get. Hope you do.

    Welcome!

Likely lordmarcovan is right. Have you weighed it?
