Newbie with bright shinning penny

    I have a 2005d lincoln penny. It's the shinest penny I ever seen. Look at it one way and it looks gold another way almost yellowish. Even with other bright penny's it stands out. Its looks mint. Is it anything special? Thanks for any help.

    I've got a 1955-S that looks exactly like the OP's. They must have come from the same Mint!

    This is what my gold penny looks like. But the date on mine is a 2005... Its the one on the far left.

    your coin looks to be plated. Either gold or brass. Neither is desirable.
