Hello everyone..hope this post finds you all safe and happy this winter. I have my bid out on this light green seal $10 note and it is looking pretty good at the moment. although it is not a "gold note" it does state on the note that it is payable in gold!

Wish me luck on what would be a very nice addition to my New York collection.

    Regards....;)

RickieB,that is a nice note, but you will have to post photos when it arrives. It is a gold note, but it isn't a Gold Certificate.Gold Certificates are quite a rare series to collect.

    Hey Aidan,

Sure thing...only 1.1 day before the auction ends...It is a really nice note Graded CH Gem 66 by PMG....
Deep color and nice embossing.....Hope I win it !

I also have a 1914 Blue Seal $5 on high bid status in a different auction...this series is what got me started on paper money in the first place just a few months ago. I have the 1914 Blue Seal $20 raw and based on what I have saw..I would say Choice Unc 62-63. It is a fantastic note!
It was signed by Burke / MacAdoo and it is my goal to get the 5, 10, 20 50 and 100 in this series all signed by the same two officials. As a matter of fact, this note series is the reason for my New York collection.

I will surly post pics of both notes if I win them...how's it going on your collection?
Post some pics my friend..post some pics!! :kewl:

    RickieB ;)
