I replied to a thread here not too long ago regarding my resolution for the coming year. It was to sell all the coins I should sell. I know quite a few of you sell coins here, and I have a couple of questions. If a person is going to list coins on ebay to sell, are certain times of the year better than others? Is it better to list a lot of coins at one time or say five to ten? The total number I have is around fifty or so. Fairly good mix of: ASE, Peace Dollar, Indian Head Cent, Standing Liberty Quarter, Buffalo Nickel. The majority are Peace Dollars. Most of the coins are raw, but some are slabbed. The first thing I have to do is learn how to photograph. Any opinions on this will be greatly appreciated.

My opinion is that you should try offering them on CoinTalk's "Open" forum before selling them on eBay. **Disclaimer** I have a grudge against eBay. They will take 15% or more of your sales in fees. That's just plain lousy. Like I said; try offering them here first, and whatever doesn't sell, you can list on eBay, etc.
Oh...I guess I should have actually answered your questions. Depending on the rarity of the coins, you may want to list them individually. If they are higher value, list them singly, but list them all on the same day. You'll get more traffic, and therefore more cross-sales that way. If you want less trouble, sell it all as one lot. If you want higher prices, list the better coins individually (of course, if you want the most money, don't put them on eBay at all!...okay...sorry...I had to take one more shot.
