New WW2 Era Find - Not Paper Money Exactly

Found this at the flea market in Lexington, SC. Couldn't pass it up since Im big into the WW2 Artifacts. Any thoughts?

Well,

At least I know what Maggie Shirley looked like in 1944. My life is complete.

 

Can you imagine a license today having "race" on it? My how things have changed - for the better in this instance.

 

How is that any better, Political Correctness has ruined this planet. It likely only has race on there because it doesn't have a picture. How else would you know if Maggie Shirley was the real deal or an imposter stealing someone else's Identity and even then it'll likely be hard to tell.


Do items such as this have any sort of value?

 

Looks to be nearly unused. The back is worn at the left edge where IMPORTANT is partially effaced.

The license is not signed by the driver. (Front, lower right, blank line.)
