Etsy listings are just the most ludicrous ever!

You created 2 threads on the same Nickel. I reported the other thread to see if the Mods delete it.

I don't know much about US coin. I am surprised to see Etsy listings. Is I Cent 1959D, 1963D and quarter 1982 coins are rare and so costly as shown in the listings?

No they are not. These coins for the most part are worth face value only.

Is there ANY chance people fall for crap like that? How in good conscience does someone advertise like that? Sic 'em, karma!

I've read in various places where ridiculously high prices like that are sometimes indications of a money laundering scheme or other fraudulent activity.

I wonder how much you could sell a mailing list of people that actually buy coins on etsy for? Think about it. What would a telemarketer pay for a list of people that actually PAY thousands of dollars for coins worth face value? :)

They would pay enough to support my hobby and that would be fine with me.
