just a wild stab, I bet that crack on the "O" is either a die crack or possibly die detoriation?
As for the lip I would think it may be a something like a cud...but like i said I am just throwing it out there from my experiences with Lincolns.

So if I am wrong please forgive, I am trying to learn.

Well..........the crack is just a crack and until some group gets into cataloguing die crack's on Kennedy's, it'll remain "just a crack".

As for the lips? Send it to CONECA for an accurate evaluation but my guess is just die erosion doubling. However, it's difficult to tell from the pictures which is why I recommend CONECA.

That is a die scratch through the O of GOD...not a crack.

I agree that it looks more like a svcratch than a crack. As for the lips, its just a minor difference in dies. Heck I have one where he has a fang sticking out of his mouth.

I would not expect a scratch to extend down into the letter whereas I would expect to see that on a crack.

I still think its a crack.

Thanks for the replies. The Fg's are there. The line is probably a crack as it starts in the field and continues through the O. I'm calling it the busted lip variety for now. BTW, The pics are of 2 different coins.

i see alot of scribble from die polishing, but the pictures are just a bit too blurred.can you retake them and have them look like the other very clear one you have?
