New user needs help to id a coin.

    I wonder if anyone can identify a coin for me. It is round with a mans head in the middle with should lenght hair and facing to the left. A round his head there is a circle band then there is what i think is greek writing round it in a circle, then outside of that there is a circle around it.

    On the back there are some writing in a full circle and the middle is empty.
    I will try to send a photo to see if this will help anyone to id it.

    I have tried to do a bit of digging and it think the lettering are Anglo saxon, on the coin it has a date of 1102 if that helps anyone to id the coin.

    I hate to say it but your coin appears to be a cast fake. I have no idea if it was based on an actual coin or not.

    BTW, welcome to CoinTalk.
