Im new to this forum and new to coin roll hunting. I trying to get halves from couple different banks but they dont have or wont order any for me. Since i cant get halves, whats better dimes or quarters? I got 2 boxes of dimes and i got 3 silver dime in each box. Anyone knows the average of silver dimes in 1 box? :smile
dimes are better, it's extremely difficult to find silver quarters from crh nowadays. My averages for 2012 were: 1 silver dime per $186 searched 1 silver quarter per $1,882 searched which comes out to about 4 times as much silver weight from dimes than quarters, on average.
