This Tiberius arrived in the mail today - still no Sestertius, but a nicer portrait than my old Dupondius:

    P2100733.jpg

TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVST IMP VII - Bare head of Tiberius left
PONTIF MAXIM TRIBVN POTEST XVII S C - Livia (?), veiled, sitting right, holding scepter and patera
    As, Rome 15-16 a.D.
    11,20 gr / 29 mm

    P2100736.jpg

    Here is my old Dupondius:

    P2100392.jpg

TI CAESAR DIVI AVGVSTI F AVGVSTVS - Laureate head of Tiberius right
PONT MAXIM COS III IMP VII TR POT XXI - Crossed cornucopias set on winged Caduceus
    Dupondius, Commagene 19/20
    RIC 89, BMCRE 175, RPC 3868

    P2100395.jpg

Now all that is missing is that Portrait Sestertius of his (*dream*)

    Let´s see your Tiberii!

PS. What is that green stuff on my new coin? Could that be... the dreaded... BD?
And is that more common on copper than on brass coins??

Looks like mineral deposits and not BD. Nice coin.

Great coins @Julius Germanicus ! I love the color of that Dupondius!

Rats...the ONLY Tiberius I have is his As:

Julius, use a toothpick to rub the green stuff , if it comes loose and its dusty & crumbly, its BD. If it sits tight and doesn't come off, its mineral deposit which is OK.
