Is there any marketability to newer (if I remember correctly some of the rolls were around the 2002 / 2003 time frame) coin rolls?

They do sell well at shows; not as well as during the roll craze of the 60's and 70's, but I'm a carryover from that era and I collect them.

there's always a market for it. it is what people are willing to pay. If you look on Ebay you can see what people got per roll per year.

The years that bring better prices SEEM random, with no apparent rhyme or reason.

Anyone want to comment (predict) the marketability of the 2009 Lincoln centennial rolls? Seems like only one of the eight commands any real premium.

I loaded up on them and should do something with them if they are going to be dogs.

You might find some ddr in the rolls, philly cents, at least 3 different reverse doubling of the hands/fingers of the "Early Childhood" cent, listed at Wexler, VV and others. But you would have to break them out of the roll. If you didn't break the roll you could sell the roll as unsearched and let a buyer roll the dice...Spark

I have a few rolls of each and I’m up to my eyeballs on rolls of the fourth design of Philly mint. I attended that release event in D.C. and it was horrible freezing rain all day. There were about 10 of us who kept getting the maximum and looping back into line. I went back from Washington to Baltimore for the fall 2009 Whitman show (same day) and sold 4 rolls for what I had paid for my whole stash. A dealer “had to have” some and kept upping his offer. Since then I’ve donated some rolls as Club door prizes.
