    Hi All,

I was browsing the books on the Spink site and found this volume for sale. They have reprinted the first volume of RIC. It is brand new for 2018. The best new is that it is on sale right now for 100 GBP regularly 150 GBP.

I thought there might be a few people who might like a new copy. They also have a reprint of volume X as well.

Wow that’s pretty cool. Hopefully they are planning on reprinting a few more volumes in 2018 or 2019. Could be a good chance for new collectors like me to pick them up at a reasonable price.

Is this a reprint identical in content to the 1984 revision?

As far as I know-yes. Here is the relevant part of the blurb.

"Sutherland’s revised Volume I has been out of print now for some years, but his study of the Julio-Claudian coinage, being the formative period of the long imperial series, is made newly available by Spink in this handsome reprint. The standard reference work for Roman Imperial coinage from Augustus to Vitellius."

I would love to read the non-catalog stuff. 150 GBP is a bit steep for a generalist like me.
