    Hey all!

How much state quarter dollars are released to use till now? Is the prices and rarity of these quarter dollars really differ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Raimundas.

The mint made a bunch. Here is their production numbers for state quarters:

Unless the coin is in top grade condition (MS67 or better), they are worth...a quarter!

Silver Proof sets vary from year to year. Some are worth more than others (i.e., 1999).

Condition, rarity, market demand, and appeal all play a role in the coin's value.

Five state quarters per year have been produced since 1999, with two having been issued so far this year. As for mintage numbers, check out the following link:

The value does differ and generally dealers will sell BU examples of the new quarters as they are released for .50 to .65 each in 2x2 holders. Some of the older issues have risen in value, such as the 2000 South Carolina P and D which often sells for around $2 or the 2002 Tennessee P or D which often go for $3.00.

Do not be mislead though, these are the dealer ask prices and dealers are purchasing coins like the South Carolina in rolls for much less so do not expect to go and make a fortune on your state quarters.
