Just got back from a smaller coin show in the Denver area, and although I didn't spend much, what I got I'm VERY excited with. First, I was able to cherry-pick a super nice, class 'A' Byzantine 'anonymous' follis from a box of later Byzantine follis the dealer had just purchased from the Middle East. I don't have pics yet, but it's very similar to this one on the Wildwinds site: Picked that up for $25! Also, I picked up three absolutely amazing, totally crisp Mexican 'series June 1915' notes from Chihuahua from a former dealer who is now retired and just slowly selling off his collection at shows like this. He had one of each of the one peso, five peso, and ten peso notes, and was selling the set of three for $20! They were just too beautiful to pass up. Again, not the actual pics, but it gives you an idea: I was actually planning on only buying some Mexican gold at the show, but didn't have enough cash. However, I'm actually more excited that I picked these up instead!
