I went to a show yesterday and sold an 1853 Half Cent PCGS MS-63BN for $285, plus I brought $50 with me, so I had $335 to spend, and I left the show with $111 or something like that. With what I spent I got some awesome stuff! It was also one of the best buying days at a show I have had, not to mention I got my first job: managing the show owner's table (he is the main dealer there, also.) Pictures to come... :D

First off, for $85. I'd grade it AU, due to it's crispness and light fold marks:

    Next, for $75.

Next, for $3 each. I didn't know how much they'd be when I bought them, but I'm sure my siblings will enjoy them as Christmas presents:

Next, for Free. The dealer put this in his book and was waiting for somebody to find it. Then he gave up waiting and when I was at his table he said to me "Do you notice anything interesting about this?" It was a horrible looking coin, no offense to the dealer, but then I noticed what the 2x2 said, "Free":

Next, for $6. The coin looks WAY better in person than in the pictures:

Say what? $85!!! Did you have to talk the dealer down any to get that price?

If this is an AU note, I'd say that's way below market value and according to the latest Paper Money Values, it's approximately 50% less than price guide figures.

Can you rescan this note so the margins don't get cropped so tight.

Sorry, but I don't have access to rescan it right now. And yes, I talked the dealer down from $90 to $85 (I tried to get lower but he settled on $85.) So I did good? :D

From what I am seeing by comparison that may have been a steal. I haven't checked Heritage yet but will try to do so this evening.

Nice pickups, but you sold a very good coin.

Yeah, it had great luster. I'll post pics of it later.

    Fr. 36 Series 1917 Teehee | Burke:

same AA block that sold Sept 2010 on Heritage for $99 inc. BP, lot #34461
same AA block that sold October 2010 on Heritage for $69 inc. BP, lot #32365
from BA block that sold August 2010 on Heritage for $70 inc. BP, lot #34307

Based on these and several others you can look up in recent past auctions, you seem to have done okay for the condition of the note.
