And now on to some new silver pickups. These are mostly smaller in size but I often find the most value there as people tend to focus on the crown-size coins and overlook the small ones. There's a bunch of Chinese coins here. I've started to buy them whenever I see them as you never know if it's going to be a $2 or $200 coin until you ID it and check. First is 1814 Italian 10 soldi. Another from the Napoleonic empire, which I am interested in. 1859 Danish West Indies 10 cents. Did you know that Denmark had a North American colony? The Danish West Indies were sold to the United States and became the U.S. Virgin Islands. There aren't a ton of coins from there and I buy them whenever I see them. 1863 T Italy 2 lire. I don't believe I had a 2 lire before. Late 1800s Kwang Tung China 5 cents. This one seems to be rare unless I'm missing something. I'm not seeing too many of them as I'm searching. 1890-1908 Kwang-Tung China 10 cents. 1905 Korea 20 chon. This seems like one of my best pickups. These go for quite a bit of money and this is in pretty good condition. 1909 Kwang Tung China 20 cents. 1913 Kwang Tung China 20 cents. This is a silver advertising token for a French military photographer who worked in Morocco, Marcelin Flandrin. I found some of these sold for more than $100, so score! 1929 Kwang Tun 20 cents. I was disappointed to find this seems to be relatively common as I know some of the Chinese silver coins with people's pictures on them are quite pricey. In any case I didn't have one before so I'm happy.
