I got these two today and just wanted to share. The first is Bank of Upper Canada penny token. I have some half penny tokens but I think this is the first penny. I thought it was a neat design and it's a large coin. The other is from Sarawak, and I thought this was interesting because I didn't know such a place existed. Apparently it is part of the island of Borneo in Malaysia. The coin's not in great shape but it has a certain uniqueness value I think.
nice coins, i am trying to get a full collection of sarawak coinage and i like the one you have got as apart from the edge knock it is a good example of this particular coin, they are quite enigmatic in so much as they are not worth as much as they should be. perhaps if the demand was higher then the value would rise significantly.
Yeah, the edge is a little rough, but I saw that there was only a little more than a million minted in this, and who knows how many have survived? I've never seen one, and when I see something unusual that I can afford I usually buy it. It spurred me to learn about Sarawak too.
