New Pickup.....1965 SMS Strike thru Error

Just thought I would post a new pickup.
I got the coin for $8.00, the toning is much better in hand!!

I bought it raw but what do you think it would grade!!

The strike tru does not help it at all it hurts it - it would be a beautiful coin without it - the strike tru would need to be larger/more intense to add any value as an error.

 

Still a Nice coin!

Look's more like a bad planchett than a strike thur.

Hi,

I agree that it does not help the value of the coin. Also without a better picture it is hard to say for sure if it is a strike through anyway. It could be a small mark caused by a hit by another coin either when the coin was made or at any time afterward.
