So I saw one of these either on here or browsing ebay, and fell in love with the design. Had to have one. Did some research, and I found a reputable seller with a bunch of them on ebay, and managed to snag one after getting out bid on many of them in the last 10 seconds...I love it. I got the 1899 B that they had up. What do you think, how did I do? Figured I'd share since I haven't shared in a while! The beginning of a recent buying spree... Sidebar: don't understand this new fangled photo adder so put them all in as thumbnails...don't know if that is good or bad...
looks like a nice grade. has it been cleaned ? how much did you pay ? my Krause catalog values it at VF-$20.00 XF-$25.00 UNC-$60.00 your coin looks AU-UNC. mintage- 30,743,000 .900 silver. a great design for a coin.
I know I paid way too much for it...every single one (dealer had about 10+ listed) went for $75-85+ regardless of grade...it was crazy Not sure on the cleaning, scratches don't look super bad. Still has some gunk on the rim, so if they cleaned it they missed a spot!
do NOT clean it further. oh well... be happy with it. show it off. I would put it in a 2x2 or an airtite to keep from getting scratched. nice addition to your collection.
