Anytime soon? Not at all....give it a few decades.

Well every dealer in the country is selling them at $4.50 a roll and higher. Whether they will hold that figure is really up to the collector market. Many people thought that the state quarter program would not impact the prices. So my guess is, they will be worth a little something.

Although I would question the future value of the new nickels, I would guess that you may see a rise in the value of other less common Jefferson nickels such as the various overdates and doubled dies, as collector interest in the series heats up.

All the Jefferson Nickels are beginning to rise in value. This new design is sparking a renewed interest in this coin.

hopefully, this will positively affect the 1940's silver wartime nickels and raise their value (ive been waiting for that for a long time)

I have seen increased interest in BU sets of the wartime nickels, and have sold quite a few circulated sets lately as well. Not quite time to break out all those rolls though ;)

well, all of the wartime nickels I have were found in change from vending machines, so Im not looking at buying lots of individual ones
