New Moneyer from local show

    Bought a few this weekend but this is my favorite. Good details and good color. From my research, it appears that this one design is the only one put out by this particular moneyer.

    Cossutius Sabula... known only from his coin issues, which utilised only one design.

    What a beautiful piece, h8m! With the closeup I have to admit that it looks like, with but a single design, this moneyer put out a lot of bull.

    WELL DONE @H8_modern ! I have looked at that issue before with a serious eye of capturing it... You did extremely well! Beautiful toning, well struck, great centering, just a great coin!

    This is when they RETARRIFFED the Denarius from TEN to 16 Asses... it was not a crossed X (*), rather the XVI denomination...

    Thanks, I wish I was a better photographer because the color is better in hand than my pic.

    Very nice set of single issues you’ve got there.
