I've got some mint sets from the 50s and 60s. Out of about ten, one is missing the envelope completely and another 6 have the original ones, but they're all torn up. I've seen a couple people selling replacement envelopes on eBay. Are those worth the few bucks? Or should I just keep the ratty looking original ones?
i think its up to you. if the worn/torn envelopes bother you, get a new one. IMHO i would keep the original one. Worn, torn, ratty or other... its original, and for the same reason i am 100% against cleaning coins, i would keep the original envelope
