hello i live in henderson nc thats about 4.5 hrs from you.kool finds i dont have much luck here in this small town and its almost impossible to get anyone to let you search goverment or personel property.I live about 3 miles from kittrell a very small town on hwy 1 toward Raleigh n c.The town has lots of history and is a nice place to hunt coins.I also have looked in williamsboro another small town that almost became the capital of n.c.Ive found a few silver coins no gold and no war buttons.You seem to live in a place i can only dream about.I use a cz 5 fisher quick silver that is about 12 years old.It has the m scope and i think it does a good job.So far its never given me any problems and i enjoy the time i get to use it.I am responding to your blog not that i wouldnt mind going to N.Y. but thats a wish for me.At 62 my roots are here and my days to travel are over.Ive enjoyed reading about your finds and would like to know if its possible to still read the stories you wrote in those magazines.Thank you.woodyhenderson.
