I must of took a hundred pictures tonight and none really worked - I will try again on the large cent tomorrow. It is darker that the pictures show. The small date 1834 is O-120 if I did not make a mistake with the attributes. The large date 1834 is an O-106. The O-120 has a slight rim ding and some rim ticks on the reverse. And the buffalo nickel just caught my eye - it has the subtle golden toning that I like on nickels. Once again all opinions are welcome.
Beautiful, thats a very nice 38 d/d to be sure. I like the cent as well, its a shame about that rim nick on the half though. It's pretty good otherwise.
Love the Buffalo! :thumb: She's purdy enough to eat! :eat: What's the variety on the BHC? Ribbit
Talking about eating buffalo nickels here is a bit of info for ya! The buffalo who they modeled the reverse of the buffalo nickel was Black Diamond. Black Diamond was the buffalo from the NY zoo. When she died the zoo sold "Black Diamond Steaks" for $2 a pound. dd:
The 1853 is an N-6. It was actually easy to attribute - all the die markers were clear on the reverse.
