New, Kennedy with lathe lines just listed

    When I was actively searching the $500 boxes of Kennedy's, I saw hundreds of these and they are not uncommon. The dies were not fully polished before they were put into service.

    I've seen some too & never gave it a second thought. Are they worth anything extra?

    You sure you're not looking at coins with lines caused by a roll crimper? Those are, obviously, very common.

    Nope - they're the radial lathe lines. I know what crimp lines look like - easy to spot. :)
