    How close to coin where you? It looks like you were only 2-4 inches away.

    Leeg, can you tell me which type of lighting (bulb) you're using, how many lights, and are you on a copy stand?

    I think your photos are absolutely AMAZING!!! I strive to get photos that good some day.

    Thanks for the kind words. :) The lens was about eight inches above the coin. I prefer two 13W Ott-Lites and I use a copy stand. Thinking about getting another 13W Ott-Lite. Any light will do as long as your white balance is correct.

    How far away from the coin is the light? And do you diffuse the light or is it raw?

    You may want to look at the Pentax DSLR'S. Brighter and clearer viewfinder. Best bang for the buck.;)

    The lights are about six inches from the coin. No diffused lighting used.
