    Nice coin & photos. Luster and strike looks very nice for a Denver issue. :)

    Are they gold in person? (For some reason, Ikes are often found a very attractive [at least to me] golden hue which reminds me of your coin pictured.)

    Having them in hand, what do you think they grade and why?

    Not really. It is silver, but it has decent luster, including that nice authentic cartwheel luster.

    Mr.Brklyn,
    First I am not sure how I missed this thread I see it is from last year.
    Second I do hate to totally disagree with you my fellow Ike enthusiast
    on your comment about these being nothing special. In My Humble Opinion
    just finding a clean high grade Ike of any year and mint mark let alone
    the ones produced specifically for circulation from Philadelphia and Denver
    is something VERY SPECIAL.

    All kidding aside Very Nice Coins :thumb:

    I believe the 74-D was only struck in CuNi clad. The 74-S was 40% silver.
