Anyone ever been to the coin show held on the third Sunday of the month in New Haven, CT? I will probably be in the area and wanted to know what to expect. Any knowledge of dealers with significant foreign or junk foreign silver would be appreciated. Thanks, Inq
I was just informed by a dealer friend this show has been cancelled. It seems it is gone forever at this point.
I live right next to the coin show! Yea they got a lot of US and Bullion dealers, they also have one fella who has some over the top notes. I collect ancients and they are few and far between there. It is a small show, with less than 20 dealers. Send me a PM and maybe we can get together. I always nice to meet a cointalker. @Collect89 will know more abut the US stuff then I.
Aww really. I guess it makes sense the folks running it lost their store front man a few weeks ago. The show was in general pretty slow.
I am not so sure that I would have wanted to go to a coin show in New Haven. I visited several years ago when visiting for colleges, and once you left the Yale campus, the surrounding community didn't look very safe IMHO. Things may have changed, but that is my recollection.
Nah, it still sucks. The area where the show is is fairly nice it's on the East Haven town line. About 2 min drive from my place.
