Well, I think Thalia does need a '97 Indian Cent for her Whitman folder... but it will be so hard to break it out of that slab. I know, buy the coin, not the slab... Reminds me of a model railroad auction that unfortunately, a humorless site which shall remain nameless pulled. The company whose products I review each month has a relatively small but faithful group of collectors that prefer to have their copies "mint in box." Some are more adamant than others that the model freight car be "mint in box." Some of the other folks who take out and run what they buy look upon the collectors with, well, a bit of contempt. The runners/collectors scrum continues as we speak. But can you guess what someone put on auction for those collectors who insist on "mint in box"? Yep, a mint in a box. I think it was a Clorets but I'm not sure anymore.
