For you dime enthusiasts, Mark Joyner of Pa. has discovered a new variety of the Roosevelt dime "Hot Lips" doubled die. Google it and read the whole story at Numismatic News. Listed by Wexler as WDDO-002. 1 1953s roosevelt hot lips.jpg

I have 20+ '64d rosies I found CRH so I will need to check them for that. I knew about the DDR, but not about this.

Tommy, is Joyner implying that Roosevelt was MAJ Margaret Houlihan in drag?

Joyner actually called it a coin sporting "doubled lips", it was Ken Potter the author of the article who called it "hot lips"
