Wow, the mint really surprised me the new ASE was filled at 6:00 am today on auto enrollment! They are listening Thank-You USM
I received mine yesterday. I preordered it from JM Bullion 2 weeks ago. I paid $37.14 each for 2 of them. $74.28 total. I just noticed that your order was for the proof. Still seems quite the mark up in price.
Actually, I have a subscription for these, so I was lucky indeed. For grins, I logged on at 12PM to see how the site was functioning. It was slow, but not unmaneuverable. I fairly quickly placed two in my 'bag', proceeded to the checkout, and let things linger. When I came back to the site at 12:30 the product was marked 'unavailable'.
i am not sure what is happening with my enrollments. A while back, I couldn't remember my password, so they helped me by opening a new account. I got 2 2021 Silver Proof Sets, yet I didn't get 2 - ASE Proofs. I did get notification yesterday that my enrollment order is getting ready for shipment. I tried and tried to sign on at about 12:15 and got down to the final order and it would skip around. I did that about 4 times, then about a half an hour later, I got a notice of the Order Acknowledgement. I was trying to get 3 of them. So I'll have to wait and see what is happening. Any idea what the ASE W Type 2 Proof would sell for ebay, etc.?
I logged in at noon to see how it was acting, and it only took 8 minutes to get all through and checked out.
I don't know what it means, but I have 3 ASE W Type 2 Proof listed in my orders. Maybe they are trying harder to get them out faster.
Awesome sold out in 30 minutes for those having trouble with auto enroll I found out the hard way ( no pay-pal)
All I can say in addition to this is...at noon today it indeed went pretty well: I got one. At least I got an acknowledgement, an email confirmation, an order number, they took my money at checkout and it cleared on my card, etc...all looks good for receiving it and there were no computer/system issues for me as of about 12:10 today.
Doing the right thing takes time but it certainly looks like the mint is trying to accommodate the little guy, whoopie.
It seems like the default was set to max order limit of 3. I had 2 entered and when I went to check out it said I was buying 3. So I had to delete one. I was only going to buy one but decided to get 2. I figure if I get the reverse proof set and the S I'll have more than my fill of the new ASE this year. They sold out in 15 minutes today. Whatever was left for sale at noon anyway.
I'm not much on the Bullion coins. What is the difference between the Bullion coin and the ASE W Uncirculated? I like to get the Uncirculated ASE. I know that the Bullion coin doesn't have the Mintmark. Also, I checked my bank account and found that I had a charge from the U.S. Mint for $219 which would be the cost for 3 ASE's. I'm kinda, holding my breath. If I get the 3 ASE Type 2 coins and also get the single ASE that I bought with my old account. At 73, I'm not as sharp as I use to be. I had some emails from some people that bought the Bullion coin and they are really happy with their purchase.
I am also pleasantly surprised that I received a reminder email at 10:17am Eastern Time. In the past, I received these emails about 15 minutes AFTER the coin went on sale (and already sold out).
