I will be holding another contest (this will be the last one for a while) so I am going to make the prize worth it. The pictured 2009-P Lincoln Silver Dollar NGC PF69 Ultra Cameo. I am working on the details of the contest now but to give people a heads up I will start the contest at 7:30 PM Central Time tommorow night. I will probably have a time limit of 10:00 PM Central Time so be prepared. I will probably give a few runner up prizes such has some circulated Walkers or some other coins. So be prepared. Now time to watch the hockey game I recorded on Tivo and figure out the rules and questions for the contest. Remember 7:30 PM tomorrow night. Will post an update some time tomorrow. Good night and go Flyers!
I think I'll try my hand at it as well...but with all the knowledgeable folks running around here I might as well be running a foot race against a pack of horses!
Working out the final details. Contest will start at 7:30 PM Central Time sharp. Answers must be submitted by 10:00 PM Central Time by private message only. I will ask between 5-10 questions on World War 2 history. Nothing very difficult. This is meant to be fun and informative not a college class on the subject. Remember Google is your friend. Prizes. 1st 2009-P Lincoln Silver Dollar NGC PF69 UC 2nd and 3rd Runner Ups...a Walking Liberty Half Dollar and a BU Franklin each and maybe a few extra coins. I will probably add a bonus question to help me pick the winners since more than one will get all the answers right. Best of luck everyone. Craig
well i wont get a chance to participate between 6am and 8:30 am most likely i guess when the odds are against u even gold coins become dust. best of luck with the contest may the best candidate win
Awesome, it sounds like fun. Is this going to be like the last couple where the first person with the right answers wins or is it going to be one of those contests where everyone who gets the answers right in the time span has their name in a drawing?
As long as people answer the questions in the 2.5 hour time frame and can miss only 1 question they will be entered in a drawing. 3 winners total with the first prize being the Lincoln Proof. I know most people aren't experts on the subject so I want to give everyone a fighting chance. Google is a great equilizer though. About an hour and 15 minutes to go.
