A while back I said I'd found a new interest area.
    It's Capped Bust Quarters/Reduced Diameter (1831-1838).
I already had one (1838 B-1) in my type set.
    I've gotten two more recently.

Considering the Rarity Numbers of other coins in this issue I'm probably good at most for two-thirds to three-quarters of the total date/die varieties.
And XF appears to be a comfortable grade considering price.
It'll keep me busy for a while.

Yes these are not very reasonable and finding them can be fun also. I've been to shows where none could be found. The 34 is boss!

I agree with this 100%. Although I haven't gone looking for CBQs, I'd guess there are probably at least 50 bust halves for every CBQ I've seen at the regional level shows I've been to. Big shows are probably different.

Also, the 34 is truly superb. I like it better than even the 38.

At one time I had the idea of doing a type set of each year from 1828-1838 half cent- half dollar . That idea, went right out the widow when I realized how hard it be to obtain in xf all the quarters. To deep for my pockets, however I did manage to find two or 3 nice specimens for my collection .
I am still working on bust half dimes though , Bust and seated coinage is my favorite.

    The 1832 is a B-2.
    I believe the 1835 is a B-2.

    The 1835 is a B-2. Both the 1832 B-2 and 1835 B-2 are Rarity-2.
