A couple of new coins that check a few items off my list....both "A" coins. I have several Indo-Greek AE coins, and need a quality AR drachm. I do have one of hermaeus, but it's pretty rough. I bought this off a shady character in a dark alley behind Cointalk. Apollodotos II, 80 - 65 BC, AR drachm O: BAΣIΛIΩΣΣ MEΓO ΣPO AI ΦIΛOΠATOPOΣ AΠOΛΛOΔOTOY, Apollodotus left; R: Maharajasa tratarasa Apaladatasa in Karosthi; Athena Alkidemos advancing left, thunderbolt in right hand, aegis draped over extended left arm; monograms to lower left and right. Western Punjab mint. 16mm, 2.2g SNG ANS 1573 As common as Aurelian coins are, I only have one Imperial issue...and it's so bad i don't even have a picture of it. I didn't want to break my camera. This coin came in a lot with another coin i really wanted, but this coin turned out to be pretty nice. Ratty silvering, but I actually wanted a ANT with the silvering looking patchy. Aurelian, Antoninianus, 270-275 AD O: IMP C AVRELIANVS AVG; R: RESTITVT OR_BIS, Female standing right, presenting wreath to emperor standing left, scepter in left hand S in middle field XXI in exergue Antioch Mint; 23mm, 3.8g RIC V: 386 Hey, who is the "female" with Aurlian? Sometimes she's described as "Oriens", sometimes as "Orbis Terrarum", sometimes as just a chick. Is Orbis Terrarum a personification of the world? I attributed the Aurelian myself, let me know if you notice any errors please! Anyway, post any coins with a ruler who's name begins with an "A".

Another theme thread...so burned out with them.. Anyways nice additions, I like Aurelian best. I tend to like patchy silvering too.
I don't usually take to patchy silvering, but that Aurelian is pretty nice, and I think you've photographed it well too. I know their names don't actually begin with an "A", but it's there somewhere! ANTONINUS PIUS AR Denarius 3.44g, 18.9mm. Rome mint, AD 140. RIC 417a. O: ANTONINVS (cognomen) AVG PIVS P P TR P COS III, laureate head right.
