Does anyone know about the new coin site GreatCollections.com? It was recently announced in our trade publications - I saw it in Numismatic News. It's headed by Ian Russell, the old CEO of Teletrade. The site just opened for registration (free) and presents itself as a buyer and seller of PCGS, NGC and ANACS slabs. I can't tell if it will operate its own auctions but it does say it will use Ebay for some selling and claims to be a buyer of coins itself. It is supposedly scheduled for opening in "late 2010". Ians name is conspiculously displayed and I know he was instramental in Teletrades success.
It will be while before the site is up and running and available for buy/sell activity. I'm adopting a wait and see attitude.
