Are there 13 in a full set? My red book is buried at the moment.

50 for a silver type set.....144 for a complete silver (date, mintmark) set.

Wow. Are you trying for the silver type set? Have you ever seen a full 144 pc set with your own eyes?

    Thanks for the info.

Even the 50 will be a chore. And no, I've never seen a complete set o' these. But you can always pick up the Red book and dream :) I know I do.....

Nice job with these. I particularly like the Rhode Island. I am slowly starting to put together the 50 piece type set myself (only have six so far). These are two that I don't have yet and are both challenging to find attractive examples. Keep up the good work!

I love, love, these. I think Commems will have to be my next set... type, of course.

yup. its a nice Unc prob MS-63...paying 440 plus sending to NGC...the dealer mentioned how he had sold a Antietum couple months ago for $1K but it was NGC MS-66 with nice toning

Nice coins green! Well after reading this, I think I might start this Commemorative Collecting. Are they still kinda in a low, undervalued state? Currently all I have graded is a San Diego and it is in a PCGS MS65.

You can pick up many at fairly reasonable prices. The most recent Red Book I own is 2008 and I know we shouldn't use it as a price guide, but many of the commem's that I've picked up are way below the '08 Red Book prices. I've heard others say that commem prices are a little flat ('cept for tonners :)) at this time so you might want to add to your collection as the budget allows. :)
