Below are my newest busties. I did not include the attributes so others can practise if they want. Both should be pretty easy. As always all comments or grading opinions are welcome.

Yep correct. I knew they would be easy. Also one of the reason I bought them. I knew they were varieties I did not have.
That eagle has attitude! Two nice ones. I have a question about overtons book, is it worth it to buy one new, are they updated and revised often? Or would a used one suffice? Another question, do you use your books as references or do you read and study them as you would a textbook?
I know some people can read and remember different things about varieties to help them remember the varieties. The only one I remember off the top of my head is the 1806 O-109 and O-109A - the without stem variety. I am not to that point where I can remember varieties and doubt if I will ever get there - I use my reference book at home and I use one at the coin store. There is also a quick reference guide available - never really looked at it. When shopping on ebay I keep the book handy - I validate what the seller says. Or if they did not include the overton number I try to figure it out myself. I have the 4th edition Parsley book - it works for me and I see nothing wrong with a used book. I am not sure how often they change.
Mark those are nice busties One question though, I haven't found a good overton book/guide yet.. Can you recommend one to use, and where to find one? I'd like to get a little more acclimated with overtons, and busties overall Thanks
I would definitely recommend getting the 4th edition of the Parsley (formerly Overton) book. It was updated and a lot of things were added. But a used copy of the 4th edition would work just as well as a new copy T$, you're two main choices are Overton/Parsley or Edgar Souder's Bust Half Fever. These are the standard references. I don't have Souder's book, I hear its excellent. I do have the Overton guide, of course. If you don't want to drop the cash on a book (they aren't cheap), I also reference coinzip quite a bit: http://coinzip.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=lebust I definitely use the book as a reference, but I also pull it out and just look through it to relax sometimes. I'm always learning what sort of things are good identifiers, what to look for on certain varieties, etc. I don't really memorize individual varieities, more like getting familiar with everything.
Particularly like the '26 - AU50. The '20 I would say F15. TPG grades, AU55 and VF25 - another series that they over-grade consistently.

If you get it you need to know how it is. Personally I would want a book that covers all varieties. I know there is a quick pocket guide that I should get.

p.s. F-15 and XF 45 would be my grade guesses. The second coin may have claims to AU details-wise, but I wouldn't grade it that high because of a relative lack of luster.
Coinman always feel free to post opinions on coins. And yes at times there is vigorous discussions on those grades or opinions. In this case I agree with Doug and Mike both - I netted the coin to XF, but figured a tpg would grade it AU. Well that is, if they grade it - you just never know(or at least me) with tpg's on what they might do. In this case I thought both varieties were cool. Of course with 1820's only having minted 750k I have bought all I have seen at the local dealer. And that gives I believe 3 or 4 varieties of 1820. Need to go validate that. I assume you are referring to the 1820 and I agree with you it's a close call. Probably could pull out a vf20 at a tpg. Nice coins!
