Has anyone seen alot of these in circ? Not just one or two but a normal amount. Anyone think they will go up in value when the mint stops sales? Anyone hoarding? Any new buffalo stories, this is the place for any new buffalo nickel stories , comments, thoughts. Personally I think that they are one of the nicest looking coins that the U.S. mint has put out in a while.
I agree with your opinion on the looks of the coin. I have seen a fair amount in circulation, but not alot. NO I don't think this coin will increase in value soon, there's just too many being hoarded. I do believe that there will be a "nich" for really excellent MS69-70 coins. Because all examples that I've seen are pretty baggy. Probably only coins that come from mint sets & the like will have a shot at high grades. I forgot to add that this is the first coin in years that I like both sides of from the US mint.
i havent seen alot of the new buffalo nickles i only have about eight or nine of them in my collection.
I've only seen one in circulation, and that was one I traded out of a tip cup for. I think the bisons are worth more now than they will be later simply because of the already mentioned hoarding.
They are worth 5 cents...they wil always be worth 5 cents....now I might say that in the year 3000 they might be worth more!!! Speedy
