I just picked this up at Barnes & Noble. I went to get "Striking it Rich with Pocket Change", but they were out. I found this instead...

2007 North American Coins & Prices
600 pages · 3,000 b&w photos
$19.99
krause publications
David C. Harper
ISBN-13: 978-0-89689-380-1
ISBN-10: 0-89689-380-4
(order) 1-800-258-0929

(see photo below)

It covers US, Canadian and Mexican coinage. It's like a "Red-Book" combined with "World Coins". Pretty neat book for only $19.99!

Yeah, the US Colonial stuff was kind of glossed over, as are some of the Canadian pre-federation issues. But hey, This is like 3 volumes at the price of one! It even has a small section on US Error coins and Varieties.

Even if your not interested in such a book, take a look at it the next time your in Barnsey. I love it!

You will end up with more books than coins soon. However, there is always something in each one of great interest.

Unfortunately, no it doesn't. I've been trying to find some sort of grading guide for Canadian Nickels myself for a while.
