Roger Burdette, author of the Red Book of Peace Dollars, through extensive research has put together this book, From Mine to Mint, which details all of the Mint operations and technologies of the period associated with producing coins from the mid-1830's to the mid-1930's.

For those of you who enjoy reading about the history of US Mint operations, you may want to check this book out that is soon to be released by Wizard Coin Supply. A CD which covers everything included in the book is also bundled with it, and you can specify whether you prefer an autographed copy or a non-autographed copy at the same price. NOTE: Roger personally autographed the books. It is not some little pasted-in sticker.

I got mine last night, but the website showed that it wasn't available yet.

For those of you who signed up for the advance notification, please be aware that the e-mail specifically mentions "non-autographed" books, and this e-mail is probably SOP for all orders whether they be signed or not. Roger has already mentioned that he will go to the Wizard warehouse to sign copies.

I followed all blank in my wizard notification and it shows non autographed being available and that the autographed copies are still not available and they will notify when they're ready. So I'm not sure if I should wait or not.
